MEDICAL ASSISTANT POSITION OPENING

About the Role: Seeking a team oriented and attentive Medical Assitant. THis position requires experience in greeting patients and assisting with registration, scheduling, meausring vital signs, and collecting health history. The role involves preparing examination rooms, assisting providers during exams and procedures, and conducting onsite lab testing. Type :

Mon - Fri 8am-4pm 1 late night Monday or Wednesday 7:30-8pm 1 Saturday every 1-2 months (normally 8am-12pm) Pay:

$21.43 - $24.57 Overview

Greet patients and assist with registration, scheduling, measuring vital signs and collecting health history Returning calls and answering MyChart messages Provide support to physicians during examinations, minor office surgeries, dressing changes and other first aid procedures Certified medical assistants may assist with immunizations or injections Assist patients with prescription requests, address pharmacy callbacks, provider orders, update charting and filing Conduct onsite lab testing to include: EKG, pulmonary function, blood glucose and urine pregnancy tests Maintains clean, warm and inviting examination rooms for patient visits Provide excellent customer service exemplifying Duly Health and Care CARE values Prepares examination rooms for patient visits, including cleaning, sterilizing, and stock supplies. Escorts patients to exam rooms and assists in obtaining pertinent information, which may include obtaining vital signs, weight, height, health history, chief complaint and symptoms. Performing Point of Care testing, administering intramuscular and Sub Q injections, schedule appointments, manage patient flow, updating and maintaining EPIC, handling referrals and prior authorizations, and coordinating with pharmacies, labs, and imaging.
