Job Summary We are seeking a clinical‑track faculty member at the rank of assistant/associate professor in the Division of Restorative and Prosthetic Dentistry, with a joint appointment at the Comprehensive Cancer Center. The position will be based in the Arthur G. James Cancer Hospital’s Head and Neck Service at the Wexner Medical Center.
Responsibilities
Provide full‑scope intraoral and extraoral maxillofacial prosthodontic care to patients.
Attend tumor board sessions and participate in clinical protocol development.
Administer administrative and supervisory oversight of professional and laboratory support staff.
Engage in research and scholarly activity that supports the division’s mission.
Participate in university and college governance, and contribute to continuing education programs.
Provide interdisciplinary mentoring to students and trainees.
Engage in biomaterials, clinical, and translational research opportunities.
Teach and support evidence‑based prosthodontics curricula.
Performance Objectives
Promote evidence‑based teaching skills and demonstrate proficiency in prosthodontics.
Show passion for student education and apply advanced technology to enhance teaching and learning.
Serve as course director, providing preparation and grading of examinations.
Support a model of dental education that incorporates innovative technology, interdisciplinary education, and patient care.
Collaborate across college divisions and serve on college/university committees.
Maintain membership in professional organizations and contribute to professional activity.

Education and Experience Requirements
Must hold a DDS/DMD or equivalent and a certificate of advanced education in prosthodontics and maxillofacial prosthetics from a CODA‑accredited program.
Eligible for a regular or limited teaching license by the Ohio State Dental Board.
Preference for board‑certified candidates and those with significant administrative and clinical experience, including fabrication of extraoral prosthetics.
Board certification by the American Board of Prosthodontics is highly desirable.
