Business Development Lead, US Regional Grocery. As a Business Development Lead, you will be responsible for engaging with senior-level executives, the negotiation process, and ultimately signing key strategic regional grocery brands in the United States. You will build partnerships, including account outreach, pitching, negotiation, and onboarding. What You'll Do
Run an end-to-end sales process: sales discovery and outreach, pitching, negotiation, and onboarding Engage with potential partners: From C-suite to individual contributors, while using data to tell a compelling story Use internal and external data to understand potential and influence outcomes Continuously improve our sales capabilities as an organization Basic Qualifications
4+ years of experience in Enterprise sales, consulting and/or partnerships with large, complex enterprise brands and organizations Data driven: Ability to tell a data-driven story and work across large sets of data Collaborative leadership: Comfortable leading conversations with Engineers, Product Managers, or C-level executives to secure buy-in Self-sufficient: Speed, resourcefulness, and a go-getter mentality in a fast-paced environment Business Acumen: Understand both strategic and technical aspects of a deal from the point of view of Uber and the Merchant Project Management: Comfortable concurrently managing many opportunities on short time horizons Preferred Qualifications
Experience with food delivery, retail and/or third-party marketplaces Financial modeling SQL Salesforce Compensation and Benefits
The base salary range varies by location: Chicago, IL $131,000–$145,000; Los Angeles, CA $131,000–$145,000; Miami, FL $131,000–$145,000; New York, NY $145,000–$161,000; San Francisco, CA $145,000–$161,000; Seattle, WA $131,000–$145,000. All US locations offer eligibility to participate in Uber’s bonus program, potential equity awards, sales bonuses and other compensation types, along with various benefits.
