Overview
Location: Anywhere in Country EY SAP - Tech/Arch - Integrations Senior - Consulting. As a Senior Application Systems Engineer, you will be at the forefront of developing and integrating user interfaces across mobile, web, and tablet platforms. You will use standard tools and agile methodologies to deliver technological solutions that drive revenue generation for our organization.
Responsibilities
Define and execute deliverables with efficiency Manage completion of deliverables and maintain engagement economics reports Track resource plans and budgets, and handle project statuses Participate in client sessions as a workstream member or team lead Travel is required based on client needs, and you will be expected to maintain a chargeability level with billable hours to external clients

Understand stakeholder needs and advise on SAP system capabilities; initiate requirement gathering, architect solutions, blueprinting, testing, workflow documentation, and functional design of solutions; translate needs into business solutions and complete configurations/integrations with SAP and non-SAP systems Strong business acumen with deep technical capabilities; ability to assimilate new knowledge Ability to deliver quality client services; monitor progress, manage risk, and keep stakeholders informed Establish relationships with client personnel at appropriate levels Agile delivery methodologies Proficiency in application development tools Quality assurance and software development expertise Systems integration skills Building client trust and collaboration Complex problem-solving abilities
Qualifications
Four-year Bachelor’s degree required Experience typically 2-4 years in a relevant field, specifically working with integrations with SAP systems Design and implement SAP integration scenarios using tools such as SAP PI/PO, SAP CIG, SAP Integration Suite (Cloud Integration, API Management, Trading Partner Management, Advanced Event Mesh, Edge Integration Cell) Experience with other integration tools (e.g., MuleSoft, Boomi, Informatica) is a plus Hands-on experience implementing interfaces with SAP solutions using APIs (ODATA, SOAP), Events, ABAP Proxies, RFCs, IDOCs, Files, etc. Experience developing integration architecture and strategies to ensure data consistency across systems Experience with adapters such as ODATA, SOAP, AMQP, AS2, AS4, Ariba, JMS, HTTPS, JDBC, IDOC, SFTP, Process Direct, MAIL, XI Security best practices for integrations (authentication, authorization, data encryption) Tools for monitoring integrations and troubleshooting (e.g., SAP Cloud ALM, Solution Manager, Splunk) Experience building B2B integration scenarios following EDI standards (ANSI X12/EDIFACT) Experience with cloud integration platforms and services (AWS, Azure, GCP) Familiarity with Agile methodologies and DevOps practices Knowledge of database management systems and data modeling concepts Strong written and verbal communication, presentation, client service and technical writing skills Strong analytical and problem-solving skills for integration challenges Ability to research client inquiries and emerging issues, including regulations and new technologies Willingness to travel to meet client needs; travel estimated at 80%
Ideally, you’ll also have
Experience working in cross-functional teams to design holistic integration architecture solutions Prior consulting industry experience or deep functional experience SAP Certification(s) Experience with at least one full cycle implementation of core module
