Primary Responsibilities

Maintain accurate records in QuickBooks® Online

Create financial reports and perform analysis

Monitor and maintain inventory, fixed assets, and business resume

Maintain tax, insurance, and compliance requirements

Maintain vendors, resources, and subcontractors

Complete accounts payable activities

Complete accounts receivable activities

Maintain petty cash fund

Prepare and maintain cash management reports

Coordinate and administer payroll

Perform technology backups

Perform technology setup, protection, and tracking

Gather and coordinate hardware and software requirements

Maintain relationships with technology vendors

Record and pay supplier invoices in a timely manner

Record cash receipts and make bank deposits

Conduct a monthly reconciliation of every bank account

Conduct periodic reconciliations of all accounts to ensure their accuracy

Maintain the petty cash fund

Sending checks to mortgage company for endorsement

Reconcile credit card statement

Maintain an orderly accounting filing system

Maintain the chart of accounts

Provide clerical and administrative support to management as requested

Follow accounting policies and procedures

Reconcile/Verify certain reoccurring expenses (cell phone, insurance, local taxes, business license, etc.) prior to processing payment

Position Requirements

3+ year(s) of experience with QuickBooks Online®

2+ years of experience with collection activities

Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, including proper pronunciation and grammar, and a consistently courteous and professional tone of voice at all times

Polite, confident, and excellent customer service skills, including listening and questioning skills

Excellent organizational skills and strong attention to detail

Very self-motivated and goal-oriented

Ability to multi-task
