Clearance
Active Top Secretclearance with SCI eligibility (existing clearance required to start)
Ability to obtain and maintain a Counterintelligence (CI) Polygraph

Overview
Install, configure, and maintain Windows Server operating systems and enterprise services, including Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy, and file/print services
Monitor, patch, and remediate vulnerabilities across Windows Server environments using enterprise management tools (e.g., MECM/SCCM, WSUS, or equivalent)
Administer and maintain user accounts, permissions, and access controls in accordance with security policies and STIG compliance requirements
Develop and maintain PowerShell scripts to automate administrative tasks and enhance operational efficiency
Troubleshoot performance issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions for Windows-based systems and dependent applications
Maintain and utilize system monitoring tools such as SolarWinds or equivalent to analyze performance and proactively address potential concerns
Create and maintain technical documentation including standard operating procedures, workflows, diagrams, and system baselines
Support change management by drafting and reviewing requests for change (RFC) and implementing approved modifications within maintenance windows
Collaborate with cybersecurity and engineering teams to ensure systems are hardened and compliant with DoD and IC standards
Provide escalation support for complex system issues and mentor junior administrators as needed
Qualifications
5 or more years of progressive, hands-on experience maintaining enterprise Windows Server environments
Certifications (one of the following): CompTIA Security+ CE, GIAC Security Essentials Certification (GSEC), or Systems Security Certified Practitioner (SSCP)
Deep understanding of Windows Server architecture, Active Directory design, and Group Policy management
Experience with enterprise patching, configuration management, and compliance tools (e.g., MECM/SCCM, WSUS, Ivanti)
Skilled in PowerShell scripting for automation and system administration
Strong understanding of system hardening and Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs)
Familiarity with virtualization platforms such as VMware or Nutanix
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to articulate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences
Meets the minimum credential requirements for a Cyber IT/Cybersecurity Workforce (CSWF) position as defined in Section 6, Table 3. System Administrator (451); Intermediate Level for SECNAV M-5239.2 compliance
Nice To Have
Experience with Microsoft 365, Azure AD, or hybrid identity management
Knowledge of backup and disaster recovery solutions (e.g., Veeam, Commvault)
Understanding of ServiceNow ITSM for incident, change, and configuration management
Exposure to DevSecOps environments and automation pipelines
