computer numerical controlled (CNC) mills and lathes
to produce precision metal components. A key part of the role is to inspect products to drawing specifications. Candidates should be able to read blueprints and use measuring instruments like calipers, micrometers, and gauges to perform inspections. Ideal candidates will have the ability to recognize machining issues and make necessary adjustments. Operate multiple CNC machines. Perform daily maintenance activities. Participate in training and learn about Dixon products. Work as a team member. Work safely around equipment and coworkers. Be flexible with rotating assignments. ???? What We're Looking For:
High School Diploma or equivalent required 5 years of CNC setup experience is required. The preferred previous role is a CNC Lathe or Mill Setup Operator. Manufacturing or machine shop experience is also needed. Experience setting up and operating CNC lathes or mills. Ability to develop programming skills Familiarity with Fanuc controls a plus! Understanding of Lean manufacturing principles a plus! Mechanical aptitude Great attitude and attendance Ability to use hand tools and read blueprints Ability to use measuring tools and shop mathematics Ability to stand for 8 hours Ability to lift up to 50 pounds over the course of a shift Willingness to learn new things and be part of a team ????
