Job Description
The Role
We are seeking an Executive Assistant / Chief of Staff to partner with our CEO and SVP of Operations. This is not a “desk-only” support role. You will be a representative of RDI in front of clients, suppliers, employees, and vendors, an extension of our leadership team.
About RDI
RDI is a nimble, full-service CRO focused on accelerating in-vitro diagnostic (IVD) development. We connect clinical sites, physicians, and our own CLIA-certified, CAP-accredited lab to help diagnostics innovators run smarter, faster studies - without the friction. From study startup to FDA submission, we ensure sites are equipped, patients are cared for, and timelines stay on track.
At RDI, every role ties directly to impact: whether you’re supporting a client call or managing internal operations, you’re helping bring critical diagnostics to patients faster. We’re a team that values clarity, ownership, and collaboration—and we’re looking for someone who thrives in that environment.
The right person has:
- High emotional intelligence and strong interpersonal skills.
- The ability to anticipate needs, “see around corners,” and manage competing priorities with calm precision.
- A strong sense of ownership and pride in producing high-quality, thoughtful work.
What You’ll Do
Executive & Client Support
- Manage calendars, travel, and meeting prep for CEO and SVP.
- Represent leadership in meetings, take minutes, follow through on next steps.
- Draft and review correspondence, presentations, and client-facing documents.
Operations & Administration
- Oversee office logistics (supplies, shipments, vendor coordination).
- Manage invoicing, payroll inputs, and expense reports.
- Maintain records, reports, and key systems (including Salesforce).
Partnership & Leadership Support
- Act as a bridge between executives, clients, and internal teams.
- Support board and committee meetings with agendas, materials, and logistics.
- Identify and streamline workflows, ensuring the executive team can focus on strategy and outcomes.
Why Join Us
This is more than a support role—it’s a chance to become a trusted partner to senior leadership, help build a growing company, and contribute directly to advancing science and patient care.
Requirements
- 5+ years of executive support or operations experience.
- Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to simplify complexity into clear, actionable next steps.
- Strong tech fluency: Excel, Word, Google Docs; Salesforce a plus.
- Comfort in a fast-paced, high-growth environment with shifting priorities.
- EQ and discretion to handle sensitive information and high-level communications.
Benefits
- Health Care Plan (Medical, Dental & Vision)
- Retirement Plan (401k, IRA)
- Life Insurance (Basic, Voluntary & AD&D)
- Paid Time Off (Vacation, Sick & Public Holidays)
