Ryder is immediately hiring a Permanent Full‑Time Forklift Operator in Minster, Ohio.

Position Description

Warehouse Forklift Operator / Driver Positions Pay Weekly.

• Hourly Pay: $20.00 per hour
• Additional Hourly Pay: $4.00 per hour for D shift
• $1000 Sign‑On Bonus paid over 6 months
• Up to $10/hr bonus for productivity after training
• Schedule: D Shift Rotating Schedule
• 11‑hour shifts, 44‑55 hours per week, 4:30 pm – 4:00 am

Products Being Handled: Yogurt. Equipment: Stand‑Up Forklifts. This role supports distribution across the U.S.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• One (1) year or more related warehouse and/or powered industrial truck experience preferred
• Valid Forklift Operator’s License certified
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong team player in a diverse work environment
• Ability to create and maintain professional relationships at all levels
• Highly thorough and dependable
• Must be punctual with good attendance record
• Performs work independently with minimal supervision
• Possesses high initiative
• Demonstrates high accuracy under pressure
• Ability to lift and/or push/pull up to 35 lbs
• Ability to stand for long periods
• Ability to work using health and safety methods
• Must be available to work flexibly on various shifts
• Detail‑oriented with excellent follow‑up practices

Responsibilities

• Perform warehouse functions: loading, picking, packing, shipping, receiving, forklift operation, cycle counting
• Observe performance‑measurement guidelines of the contract
• Ensure accurate picking, packing, auditing, tote induction, staging, loading and unloading of trucks
• Handle day‑to‑day paperwork (picking sheets, returns, bills of lading, etc.)
• Provide technical & maintenance support for automated packing systems during core shift hours
• Perform other duties as assigned
