Primary Responsibilities

  • Maintain accurate records in QuickBooks® Online
  • Create financial reports and perform analysis
  • Monitor and maintain inventory, fixed assets, and business resume
  • Maintain tax, insurance, and compliance requirements
  • Maintain vendors, resources, and subcontractors
  • Complete accounts payable activities
  • Complete accounts receivable activities
  • Maintain petty cash fund
  • Prepare and maintain cash management reports
  • Coordinate and administer payroll
  • Perform technology backups
  • Perform technology setup, protection, and tracking
  • Gather and coordinate hardware and software requirements
  • Maintain relationships with technology vendors
  • Record and pay supplier invoices in a timely manner
  • Record cash receipts and make bank deposits
  • Conduct a monthly reconciliation of every bank account
  • Conduct periodic reconciliations of all accounts to ensure their accuracy
  • Maintain the petty cash fund
  • Sending checks to mortgage company for endorsement
  • Reconcile credit card statement
  • Maintain an orderly accounting filing system
  • Maintain the chart of accounts
  • Provide clerical and administrative support to management as requested
  • Follow accounting policies and procedures
  • Reconcile/Verify certain reoccurring expenses (cell phone, insurance, local taxes, business license, etc.) prior to processing payment

Position Requirements

  • 3+ year(s) of experience with QuickBooks Online®
  • 2+ years of experience with collection activities
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, including proper pronunciation and grammar, and a consistently courteous and professional tone of voice at all times
  • Polite, confident, and excellent customer service skills, including listening and questioning skills
  • Excellent organizational skills and strong attention to detail
  • Very self-motivated and goal-oriented
  • Ability to multi-task
