Responsibilities

Unit Secretary - Subacute located at Corona Regional Medical Center in Corona, CA.

This is a full-time, day shift position.

Reporting to the Director of Subacute Nursing, the unit secretary provides clerical support to the nursing units for the provision of continuity of patient care. Provides clerical and nursing support to the Sub‑Acute Unit and Nursing Director.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of federal and state regulations governing skilled nursing.
• Knowledge of patient rights.
• Knowledge of medical terminology (preferred).
• Six months recent Unit Secretary experience preferred.
• Six months of CNA experience required; preferred in SNF/Sub‑Acute Unit.
• Current BLS (CPR) certification required through the American Heart Association.
• CNA license required.

Licensure & Certifications

• Current BLS (CPR) – required.
• CNA license – required.
