Overview

Store 011 Houston Airline - Cook at Fiesta Mart, Inc. The Cook is supervised by the Restaurant Manager and is responsible for all food items prepared in the restaurant. They portion and prepare food items prior to cooking, sauté, fry, or otherwise cook food on the kitchen line. Cooks ensure the use of fresh ingredients, follow sanitation guidelines, and prep recipes to standard to maintain product consistency. They may assist customers with orders, serve food when needed, fill display cases, and assist in cleaning the department.

Must be able to work a variety of hours including nights and weekends.

Food Handler Card or its equivalent certification is required for all positions related to preparation, handling and serving food.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook food items on the kitchen line (sautéing, frying, and other cooking methods).
• Ensure fresh ingredients are used and follow sanitation guidelines.
• Prepare recipes to standard to maintain product consistency.
• Assist customers with orders and serve food as needed.
• Fill display cases and assist in cleaning the department.

Qualifications
