Hematopathologist Scottsdale, AZ We are seeking an Hematopathologist with strong general surgical pathology skills. We are a group of eight pathologists providing services to three hospitals in Scottsdale, Arizona. It has a high volume of general surgical pathology (breast, GU, GYN, GI) and hematopathology, including supporting an active bone marrow transplant and leukemia service. Candidates should possess strong general surgical pathology skills, a good work ethic, and excellent communication skills. Aside from general sign-out, frozen section interpretation, cytology quick read interpretations, and rare fetal autopsies, the position requires participation in tumor boards, discussions with clinicians, and laboratory staff interaction. Education Requirements Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) from an accredited institution. Completion of an ACGME-accredited residency in Anatomic Pathology or Anatomic & Clinical Pathology. Completion of an accredited fellowship in Hematopathology. Licensure & Certification Board certification or eligibility in Anatomic Pathology or Anatomic & Clinical Pathology by the American Board of Pathology (ABP). Subspecialty board certification or eligibility in Hematopathology by the American Board of Pathology. Current or eligible for unrestricted Arizona Medical License.
