Our client is currently seeking a qualified
Desktop Support Technician
to join their team in Wauwatosa, WI and provide end-user support. This is a
hybrid
role working
3
days remote and 2 days onsite.
Duties and Responsibilities
Addresses user tickets regarding hardware, software, and networking issues; managing, maintaining, and upgrading computer systems (Windows 11), mobile devices (iOS), and peripherals; and training users on basic hardware and software usage
Supports users on Windows 11
Supports users on Microsoft M365 Suite
Explains complex IT concepts in simple terms
Provides White Glove IT support to remote user’s computer hardware, software and mobile phone (iOS and Android) troubleshooting
Images, wipes, configures, orders, and ships out laptop computers, iPads, and mobile devices
Walks customers through installing applications and computer peripherals
Orders and replaces computer parts as needed
Follows and/or documents troubleshooting processes
Maintains, upgrades, replaces, identifies, and analyzes defective hardware or software
Represents the company in a professional and businesslike manner
Skills and Qualifications
Minimum 1+ years of experience in remote desktop troubleshooting
Windows 11 experience, O365
Familiarity with Microsoft Intune
Familiarity with troubleshooting VPN issues (Palo Alto GlobalProtect)
Experience working remote ticket queue with ServiceNow or similar
White Glove Support experience
Must be quick to learn
Excellent customer service skills
Desktop Support experience
Reliable (will show up for work at the site as assigned and be online productively working)
Communicate effectively with customers and associates
Strong attention to detail
Must be self-motivated and work well independently and as part of a team
CompTIA A+ certification or able to obtain within 90 -180 days of hire
Wage Range The rate for this position is between
$15.75 - $23.20 per hour . Factors which may affect starting pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
