The Supervisor, Human Resources (HR) provides HR leadership to assigned business unit(s). The supervisor works closely with other members of the HR Operations team to provide comprehensive, responsive full range HR support to staff and leaders. The supervisor serves as a liaison between staff and HR, the office of general counsel, and outside counsel. The HR supervisor also serves as a business partner to staff and leadership in designated business unit(s). As a business partner, the HR supervisor is responsible for integrating strategic human capital thinking into business decisions, and acting as a strategic positioner, capability builder, credible activist, and change champion. This position is responsible for supervising human resources department staff in the designated business unit. Other duties as assigned. Experience Description
At least five years of progressively responsible human resources experience, including knowledge and skills from strategic human resources, talent acquisition, and organizational development disciplines is required. Two years of experience specific to employee relations required. Experience with Labor (Union) relations required. Experience in a healthcare environment is preferred. Previous leadership experience preferred. Education Description
Bachelor's degree in human resources management, business administration or related field of study is required. Master's degree is preferred. Licensure Description
PHR or equivalent professional certification is preferred. Perks & Benefits
