Responsibilities The MyALIGN Data Analyst leads data management and evaluation efforts for the MyALIGN professional development initiative. This position oversees and manages the research resource library. This role ensures timely and accurate data collection, analysis, and reporting to support program improvement and accountability. It conducts day-to-day data evaluation activities for outcome tracking and continuous quality improvement (CQI). This includes:
Developing and implementing brief data collection tools for singular events (e.g., webinars, training). Analyzes data both by event and longitudinally, providing periodic reports and insights.
Collecting, monitoring, analyzing, and reporting data collected standard through the MyALIGN learning management system and its users.
Supporting the Assistant Director in collection and analysis of MyALIGN customer satisfaction data.
Overseeing quality assurance and security of collected data.
Managing the research resource library housed within the LMS, including supporting the design and implementation of tagging strategies for research assets, developing and maintaining taxonomies and controlled vocabularies to improve searchability, and analyzing usage patterns and search behaviors to optimize asset discoverability.
Collaborating with MyALIGN program staff to align data collection, analysis, and reporting standards with program goals.
Generating data-informed reports and insights for internal use and external dissemination. Providing CQI recommendations to the Assistant Directors of MyALIGN (i.e., Research & Evaluation, Programming).
Contributing to research publications and presentations as needed.
Qualifications Bachelor’s degree and two years of experience or a high school diploma or equivalent and six years of experience. (Note: or a combination of post high school education and experience equal to six years.)
Preferred Qualifications
Experienced in LMS data management, training evaluation, and Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI) frameworks.
Skilled in data cataloguing, taxonomy development, and managing controlled vocabularies.
Proficient in data analysis, visualization, and reporting using modern tools and techniques.
Strong understanding of search and retrieval systems, including indexing and tagging strategies.
Effective working both independently and in collaborative team environments.
