Overview
A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available at a K-12 school in Ukiah, CA. This contract position is for the current school year (CSY), Monday through Friday, replacing a virtual therapist. The ideal candidate will hold a valid SLP certification and Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) in speech-language pathology.
Key Qualifications
Valid Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) licensure
Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred
Experience working with K-12 students in school settings
Ability to conduct speech and language assessments and develop individualized education programs (IEPs)
Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with educators and families
Willingness to work full-time during standard school hours (M-F)
Location Ukiah, California, serving students from kindergarten through 12th grade in a public school setting
Primary Responsibilities
Provide direct speech and language therapy services to students with communication disorders
Conduct formal and informal evaluations to determine student eligibility and progress
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on assessment results
Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to support student success
Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with school and state regulations
Replace a virtual therapist, requiring in-person presence and services (no VOCO)
