Housekeeping Inspector
to work with our housekeeping team. Responsibilities
Maintain the cleanliness and appearance of guest accommodations and public spaces; ensure each member of the housekeeping team carries out assignments in accordance with standards. Handle and direct guest complaints concerning housekeeping; notify maintenance of any needed repairs. Approve rooms for occupancy and ensure each room is 100% ready prior to placing it into the system. Keep all storage and linen rooms in a clean and satisfactory condition and stocked with needed items. Perform other related duties as assigned. Qualifications
Must be 18 years of age or older. High School diploma or equivalent. Dependable transportation to and from work. Ability to read, speak and understand the English language. At least two years of experience in a housekeeping or laundry role. A positive and friendly attitude toward guests, customers, and fellow employees. Extremely detail-oriented with outstanding communication skills. Ability to follow directions written and verbal. Integrity to safeguard confidential information. Demeanor to remain calm in tense or stressful situations. Initiative to work efficiently with minimal supervision. Flexible schedule. Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 pounds on occasion. Must be able to push or pull a minimum of 100 pounds. Schedule / Holidays / PTO
The Housekeeping Inspector is expected to normally keep a 5-day-a-week schedule but adjusted as needed according to occupancy and business needs, and to be available for peak guest times and/or in the event of an emergency. A work week of 45 hours per week can be expected; however, it can be more or less depending on the business needs of the Lodge. Working evenings, weekends and holidays can be expected. This role will typically be expected to work during peak seasons, typically taking PTO and vacations during slower seasons.
