Responsibilities
Front end Manager reporting to the Store Manager/ASM is directly responsible for all aspects of the administrative and clerical store operations. Front end management includes POS registers/cashiers, service desk/associates and layaway, Cash Office functions, front end cleanliness and organization, and maintaining detailed standards. Ensure line control efficiencies to provide a fast and friendly checkout experience for customers. Review all reports daily and escalate issues to the Store Manager and Loss Prevention as needed. Ensure all company policies and procedures are followed, understood, and executed by all team members. Improve front end efficiencies by hiring high-energy team members with the right skill set and attitude. Handle customer issues to ensure the best shopping experience. Ability to work varied hours/days, including nights, weekends, and holidays to meet business needs. Qualifications
Ability to communicate effectively with customers and team members regarding Forman Mills written policy and procedures, training materials, directives, and any other materials Forman Mills produces. Ability to perform basic math functions to operate the register, make change, and conduct inventory. May be required to lift up to 40 lbs and on occasion up to 70 lbs from floor level, with adequate fitness level to meet demands of frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing, and repetitive lifting with or without reasonable accommodation.
