Motiva is wholly owned by Aramco, one of the world’s largest integrated energy and chemicals companies.**Position Overview:**The Department of Transportation (DOT) Analyst plays a key role in supporting operational compliance for Motiva’s pipeline safety programs. This position is responsible for ensuring adherence to PHMSA and state regulatory requirements through the management of One-Call systems, coordination of aerial patrols, tracking of regulatory tasks, and oversight of field compliance activities. The DOT Analyst will also lead and execute compliance projects and initiatives that advance Motiva’s Pipeline Safety Management System.This a DOT regulated position and is subject to drug and alcohol testing in compliance with DOT regulations.**Responsibilities:*** Accurately process and respond to One-Call tickets within regulatory and company timelines.* Track and escalate excavation activity to appropriate stakeholders.* Maintain monthly performance metrics on One-Call data.* Coordinate aerial patrol schedules, track completion, and validate patrol reports.* Ensure vendor deliverables meet contractual and regulatory requirements.* Maintain compliance documentation.* Complete assigned DOT Program reviews.* Ensure regulatory records are accurate, traceable, and readily retrievable.* Proactively identify and correct gaps in task execution and documentation.* Support execution of compliance improvement projects.* Provide clear documentation and reporting of progress and outcomes to leadership.* Deliver assigned project milestones on schedule.* Maintain records and documentation to support successful regulatory inspections and audits.* Contribute to audit preparation activities.* Contribute to achieving zero repeat findings or missed deadlines in inspections.* Provide routine compliance status reporting.* Collaborate effectively with Operations, Engineering, and Maintenance to close compliance gaps.* Demonstrate responsiveness and accountability in assigned actions.**Experience and Qualifications:****Required Education and Experience:*** Bachelor’s degree in Engineering OR high school diploma paired with 10+ years of experience working in pipeline operations, compliance, regulatory management or in a similar technical role in an industrial environment* Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint* Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams* Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines and deliver accurate results* Strong analytical skills with attention to detail**Preferred Education and Experience:*** Working knowledge of PHMSA pipeline safety regulations (49 CFR 195) and applicable state rules* Experience working with One-Call systems and vendor management**Physical Requirements:*** Must meet all medical or physical evaluations required for DOT-regulated roles* Must be able to walk and stand for extended periods during site visits, regulatory audits, or inspections* Ability to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) in designated areas (FRC, hard hat, safety glasses, gloves, boots, and hearing protection)* Ability to safely navigate uneven terrain, climb stairs, and access elevated work areas as required for field compliance activitiesWe reserve the right to amend or withdraw Motiva jobs at any time, including prior to the closing date.
