Job DescriptionJob DescriptionThe Electrical Engineer ideal candidate has significant experience and background in Electrical Engineering / design capable of executing the core responsibilities listed below.
Responsibilities:
- Support medium scope projects through the detail design and implementation phase. This includes development of BOM , electrical control panel phasing plans, Electrical Engineering work plans, and design approval packages
- Supporting Project Engineer during transition from Detailed Design to Final Engineering
- Reviewing and providing Electrical Engineering input to Description of Operation (DOO) & Functional Specification (FSD) documentation
- Providing Electrical Engineering input for implementation plan
- Developing Electrical Engineering work plan to ensure successful project milestone achievements
- Leading Controls Layout review meetings with internal teams and Client. Supporting Project Engineer to achieve design acceptance
- Electrical device layout package
- Control panel fabrication package
- Electrical installation package
- Attending Client meetings as required
- Utilizing AutoCAD and AutoCAD Electrical for drawings
Qualifications:
- 4-year engineering degree in Electrical Engineering (or similar engineering program) from an accredited college plus 3-5 years of relevant work experience
- Conveyor control process experience (photoeyes, solenoids, variable frequency drive, line scanner, print and apply application)
- Advanced collaboration and communication skills (written and verbal communication)
- Proficient in the use of AutoCAD, AutoCAD Electrical, Promis-e, or E-Plan for electrical design
Desired Qualifications:
- Experience managing Engineering projects requiring collaboration between multiple Engineering work streams
- UL, NEC, NFPA, OSHA design requirements
- 480VAC motor control panel design experience
- Strong comprehension of Profibus, Profinet, Ethernet IP, network design and requirements
