What you’ll be doing
Be part of our NVIDIA production planning team, collaborating with supply and demand planning teams, contract manufacturers, factory operations, and other supply chain groups. This position presents a rare opportunity to engage with a world-class technology firm, using your skills to impact the evolution of computing. Handle the production planning process at contract manufacturers (CMs) and collaborate with factory managers to address and resolve emerging issues. Drive CM PO commitments in the NALA region while coordinating inventory movement of consignment and finished goods. Provide visibility on the supply production plan by handling purchase orders within SAP ERP. Act as a critical contact for sales/planning issues related to supply shortfalls at the CM factory, providing efficient responses and bridging gaps between demand forecasts and production schedules. Identify production risks such as capacity, material, and quality, and work with supply/demand planning and factory operations to establish a production recovery plan. Monitor aging inventory and minimize obsolescence, ensuring optimal stock turnover. Collaborate with related functional teams on inventory quarantine, rework execution, and shipment recovery. This position is a global role requiring engagement with teams in the US and APAC; flexibility in multiple time zones is required. Drive planning system enhancements, report automation, and process improvements to support a growing global business.
What we need to see
BS/BA degree in industrial engineering, finance, manufacturing, operations, business or equivalent experience. 5 years of proven experience in supply chain, operations, manufacturing, with a focus on production/supply planning. Experience in planning ERP systems such as SAP/APO/S4 HANA, and an in-depth understanding of MRP concepts. Superb analytical skills and proficiency with Excel for scrutinizing data, formulas, pivot tables. Proficiency in developing Excel macros is beneficial. Strong communication, problem-solving, teamwork, organizational, and quantitative skills. Highly organized, meticulous, and a self-starter with a strong sense of ownership/accountability. Consistent track record documenting, automating, improving processes, and influencing cross-functional changes to achieve results. Experience in a high-pressure production environment working with various constraints under a matrixed organization.
Ways to stand out from the crowd
Direct experience working in a CM manufacturing environment and understanding CM production line/shop floor concepts. APICS certification and understanding of theoretical frameworks/concepts applied to real-world problems. Ability to lead multiple assignments concurrently; excellent organizational skills. Self-starter with agility and flexibility, with a growth and continuous learning mindset.
Compensation & benefits
NVIDIA is frequently acknowledged as a world-class employer. Our staff consists of highly dedicated and enthusiastic individuals. The base salary will be determined based on location, experience, and market benchmarks. The base salary ranges are 100,000 USD – 155,250 USD for Level 3, and 128,000 USD – 201,250 USD for Level 4.
