Job ID: 707898BR Date posted: Oct. 23, 2025 Description: You will be the Technical Lead for our Production Engineering team, responsible for providing sound technical leadership and guidance to a group of 5+ manufacturing engineers. Our team is dedicated to delivering high-quality products and driving process improvements, and we\'re looking for a highly skilled and experienced technical leader to join our team. What You Will Be Doing

As the Technical Lead, you will be responsible for providing technical guidance and oversight to our team of manufacturing engineers, ensuring that they have the support and resources they need to succeed. You will also be responsible for tracking process improvement efforts across the shop, identifying areas for improvement, and aiding in root cause analysis and corrective action to reduce defects. Additionally, you will be required to communicate and collaborate with multiple disciplines and sites, including production, quality, and engineering teams. The day to day business rhythm will be the application of manufacturing engineering methodologies and skills to meet customer requirements and achieve the goals and objectives of the production operation. You will be part of a team that contributes to the success of the programs and delivery of the product. Your responsibilities will include: Assist with the process development of multiple mechanical parts relating to multiple programs. Work with shop floor personnel to develop work instructions that are accurate and yield high quality products. Work with NC programming, Tool Design, Engineering, and shop floor personnel to continuously improve the process. Investigate and identify root cause for all defects related to the product. Support the program needs for delivery of assembled mechanical parts. Occasional travel may be required. Why Join Us

Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience Must be able to obtain and maintain a secret clearance 5+ years in a manufacturing role Experience troubleshooting complex problems and improving processes Ability to communicate effectively Occasional Travel required Desired Skills

Experience leading a team of technical ICs Experience with mechanical assembly including rivets, threaded inserts, nutplates, etc. Experience with sheet metal fabrication Experience with root cause and corrective action investigations Experience with Windchill PLM, Apriso, and SAP Experience writing detailed work instructions Experience with aerospace military specifications Security Clearance

Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed.
