Position : Security Officer - Unarmed Government Patrols in San Francisco, CA
As a Part-Time Security Officer, you’ll use our exclusive Claim a Shift platform to view and pick up open shifts based on your availability—giving you the freedom to build a schedule that works for you, while gaining valuable site experience across various industries. This unarmed position helps deter security incidents and maintain a secure environment within a government setting.
Pay Rate:

What You'll Do: Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and following site-specific policies, including emergency response activities when appropriate. Respond to incidents and critical situations at the location in a calm, problem-solving manner. Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and its perimeter to deter potential security-related incidents; working environments and conditions may vary by location. Minimum Requirements: Graduate of a Law Enforcement or Military Police Training Program or equivalent is required. 1+ years of law enforcement experience, or 2+ years of security supervisor/manager experience, or 3+ years of security-related experience. Armed Guard Card or license required. Guard Card or license preferred. Handcuffing Certification preferred. Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles. High school diploma or equivalent. Background investigation required as a condition of employment in accordance with applicable laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. Drug screening required as a condition of employment, to the extent permitted by law. Participate in industry-specific security-related training programs.
