Brand Strategy Director Job Description Wildtype Health is seeking a Brand Strategy Director to join our dynamic team serving a blockbuster oncology brand that has changed the life of millions of people worldwide. You are a forward-thinking strategist and creative problem solver, excited by the opportunity to challenge convention and inspire others. You will guide brands and clients through uncharted territory, developing powerful brand and communication strategies that break through the clutter and drive change. In this role, you will collaborate closely with creative, account, and medical teams, lead client and internal workshops, identify and translate complex insights into actionable strategies. Primary Responsibilities Serve as the strategic lead for assigned HCP oncology brands, partnering with agency colleagues and clients to uncover opportunities for disruption and growth. Build and nurture strong client relationships as a trusted, proactive advisor. Guide the strategic direction for brand development, positioning, and marketing approaches, ensuring solutions are data-driven and insight-led. Lead and facilitate workshops that inspire breakthrough thinking and strategic excellence. Oversee and synthesize market research (primary and secondary) to generate deep customer, market, and competitor insights. Develop and present clear, compelling strategies, creative briefs, content maps, and multichannel engagement plans. Stay ahead of macro-trends in oncology, healthcare, science, and culture, identifying implications and opportunities for our clients. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure strategies are translated into impactful creative and business results. Contribute to new business efforts, providing strategic leadership and insight generation as part of pitch teams. Mentor junior strategists and contribute to a culture of learning, growth, and curiosity. Qualifications & Experience Bachelor’s degree and 5-7 years’ experience in an agency, market research, healthcare communications, or similar pharmaceutical marketing/consulting environment (HCP oncology experience preferred). Deep understanding and curiosity of brand strategy fundamentals, development, and processes. Proven track record of developing and presenting strategic recommendations that drive marketing and business strategy objectives. Strong research, analytical, Ai, and data synthesis skills; ability to distill complex information into actionable insights. Exceptional storytelling and communication skills. Experience leading workshops and facilitating cross-functional collaboration (fluency in Miro/Mural a plus). Creative, independent thinker who thrives in a fast-paced, evolving environment. Ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize effectively, and deliver results. Willingness to travel to client offices as required Salary Range-$145,000 - $155,000.
