The
Sales Director
will be responsible for driving growth through the acquisition of new business opportunities across Europe. This role requires a "hunter" mindset, focused on generating new retail accounts, partnerships, and distribution channels. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sales and business development, with the ability to build relationships from the ground up and secure long-term partnerships in a competitive market. This is a remote role, with travel required for client meetings and business development activities. Key Responsibilities
New Business Acquisition:
Identify, prospect, and secure new accounts and partnerships across Belgium. Develop and execute strategies to target new customers and channels, expanding the company’s presence. Market Penetration:
Explore new market segments, including foodservice, online retail, and grocery chains, to increase the company’s footprint in the ready meal category. Lead Generation & Prospecting:
Utilize a range of sales techniques (cold calling, networking, digital outreach, etc.) to generate leads and build a pipeline of potential clients. Negotiation & Deal Closing:
Lead negotiations with new clients, securing contracts, pricing, and promotional terms that drive revenue growth. Collaboration Across Teams:
Work closely with marketing, product development, and operations teams to ensure that sales strategies are aligned with the product offerings and customer needs. Relationship Building:
Build strong, long-lasting relationships with new clients, ensuring their satisfaction and fostering opportunities for future collaboration and growth. Sales Strategy:
Develop and implement a focused business development strategy for Belgium, targeting new and emerging markets while tracking performance and adapting to market trends. Reporting & Forecasting:
Regularly report on sales performance, pipeline status, and new opportunities to senior management, providing actionable insights to inform business decisions. Seniority level
