Security Professional - Government Site Unarmed Patrol in
Brooklyn, NY . You will monitor and patrol designated government locations to help create a secure environment, conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to deter incidents, and provide professional customer service and clear communication. Position Type:

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies and protocols, and participating in emergency response activities when appropriate. Respond to incidents and critical situations calmly and professionally. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and perimeter to deter incidents and identify unusual activity. Monitor access points and observe surroundings for security concerns specific to government environments. Document and report security-related incidents, maintenance issues, and hazards during patrols per Allied Universal protocols. Collaborate with local law enforcement and emergency services as needed during incidents or emergencies. Maintain a visible presence to deter unwanted activity and provide reassurance to staff and visitors. Minimum Requirements
A valid New York State Security Guard License is required. Ability to work at locations with limited on-site facilities such as portable toilets or a rustic guard shack is preferred. Be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles. High school diploma or equivalent. Background investigation as required by federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. Drug screen as permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state/local laws and may be required prior to employment. Valid driver’s license required for driving positions only.
