Location: Boston, MA (Onsite support in Waltham/Framingham, 3-4 days a week)

Job Description

As a vital part of our team, you’ll serve as the primary point of contact for our IT support clientele, delivering unparalleled service both onsite and remotely. Your role will encompass a diverse array of responsibilities, ensuring our clients' technology operates seamlessly.

Main Responsibilities

  • Onsite IT Support: Provide onsite assistance 2-3 days a week at various client offices within the Boston area, guaranteeing smooth operation of their technology systems.
  • Workstation Setup & User Onboarding: Manage the setup of workstations and facilitate user onboarding, including the imaging of new laptops in both Windows (using Intune) and Apple (using Kandji) environments.
  • Helpdesk Management: Address a variety of support tasks, from troubleshooting Level 1 and 2 helpdesk tickets to overseeing A/V media rooms, Wi-Fi networks, printers, and phone systems.
  • VIP Support: Offer superior support to VIP and executive users, responding to their technology requirements with professionalism, discretion, and urgency.
  • Windows 11 Rollouts: Assist in the upgrading and rollout of Windows 11 to client laptops.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with our Helpdesk Manager/Lead to deliver comprehensive and effective support for our clients.

Experience

  • Minimum of 3 years as an IT helpdesk technician or in a comparable role.
  • Experience with a Managed Service Provider (MSP) is highly advantageous.
  • Familiarity with Life Sciences organizations is a plus.

Technical Skills

  • Expertise in providing IT support for both Windows and macOS workstations.
  • Proficient in imaging and deployment software such as Intune and Kandji.
  • Solid grasp of Azure and AWS platforms.
  • Knowledge of Identity Access Management best practices is highly desirable.
  • Scripting skills in Python or PowerShell are a bonus.
