We are a reputable restoration company seeking an experienced and highly driven
Restoration Estimator
to join our team. This is a unique and challenging role that is
primarily a sales position , requiring a self-motivated individual to manage the entire project lifecyclefrom initial sales pitch and damage assessment to securing the contract and creating the final budget. If you have experience navigating
insurance claims
and a talent for both estimating and closing deals, we want to hear from you. Key Responsibilities
Sales & Client Relationships (The Hunter)
Business Development:
Actively pursue new jobs and assignments by connecting with potential clients, property managers, and insurance adjusters. Closing:
Visit new assignments, meet with clients, and close service contracts. Relationship Management:
Create and maintain strong professional relationships with clients, insurance adjusters, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure a consistent flow of work. Communication:
Sell services and provide continuous updates through on-site visits, calls, and emails to all stakeholders.
Estimating & Project Planning (The Expert)
Damage Assessment:
Scope and assess property damages at the site and create a comprehensive
scope of work
for each new project. Budgeting:
Develop detailed, accurate estimates and budgets using
Xactimate software
and submit them to management and the insurance company. Financial Management:
Create and manage all job estimates and change orders using
Xactimate . Resource Allocation:
Allocate resources and manage multiple projects efficiently, ensuring all deadlines are met. Follow-Up:
Track projects, manage deadlines, and proactively follow up on assignments to ensure successful completion and claims closure.
Required Qualifications
Experience:
Previous experience in property restoration estimating, insurance claims, or a related field.
1-3 years of Xactimate experience is preferred but we will train the right candidate. Technical Knowledge:
Familiarity with restoration industry software, specifically
Xactimate .
Strong knowledge of
insurance billing, guidelines, and coverages . Experience working with property claims and closing them efficiently.
Professional Skills:
Strong negotiation skills and excellent verbal and written communication abilities. Strong
leadership qualities . Deadline and detail-oriented, highly organized, and self-motivated/driven.
Logistics:
Valid driver's license. Compensation and Benefits
