In a globally growing healthcare market, we are looking for a full‑time Maintenance Supervisor to strengthen our team in Memphis, TN. The Manufacturing Maintenance Supervisor oversees and coordinates the daily activities of the maintenance and facility team to ensure equipment reliability, facility upkeep, minimal downtime, and a safe working environment. This role provides hands‑on technical support while supervising technicians, assigning work orders, and maintaining compliance with safety and regulatory requirements. The Manufacturing Maintenance Supervisor partners closely with production, engineering, and EHS to support operational goals and continuous improvement. Essential Job Functions

Passion:

Ensure safe and reliable operation of all equipment including but not limited to lathe and CNC, as well as building systems in compliance with OSHA and company standards. Lead troubleshooting and diagnostic activities using technical knowledge, testing methods, and measuring instruments. Support equipment upgrades and improvements by fabricating, modifying, or coordinating modifications as needed.

Trustworthiness:

Supervise, train, and mentor maintenance and facility technicians, ensuring accountability and consistent work quality. Maintain accurate documentation of maintenance work, equipment history, and compliance records. Ensure preventive maintenance and repair activities are completed on time and to standard.

Drive Results:

Reduce unplanned downtime through effective preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance programs. Plan, assign, and monitor daily work orders, aligning team priorities with production needs. Support installation and commissioning of new equipment to meet operational and customer requirements.

Collaboration:

Partner with production, engineering, and EHS teams to identify root causes of failures and implement corrective actions. Work closely with technicians to share knowledge, solve problems, and promote continuous improvement. Support general plant maintenance activities, including facility systems and safety equipment.

Skills

Strong technical knowledge of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems; PLC and HVAC experience a plus. Proficiency with CMMS systems and Microsoft Office applications. Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills. Proven ability to troubleshoot, prioritize, and solve problems effectively. Knowledge of OSHA and other safety regulations. Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, blueprints, and work instructions. Knowledge of preventive and predictive maintenance practices to minimize equipment downtime. Effective communication skills to interact with team members, production staff, and leadership. Ability to work independently or collaboratively in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment. Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities, urgent repairs, and after‑hours needs. Experience

Minimum 5 years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing, industrial, or facilities environment. Minimum 2 years in a leadership, supervisory, or team lead role. Experience with preventive and predictive maintenance programs preferred. Background working in cleanroom, GMP, or ISO‑certified environments desirable (if applicable to your industry). Education

Associate or bachelor’s degree in engineering, Industrial Maintenance, or related field preferred; equivalent technical experience accepted. Licenses/Certifications: Electrical, Welding, and/or OSHA Safety Training are a plus. Physical Demands

Prolonged standing, walking, and movement within production and cleanroom environments. Must be able to lift, carry, push, and/or pull up to 20 lbs. independently; occasional lifting of heavier objects may be required with mechanical assistance or team lift. Required to wear appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), including but not limited to safety glasses, gloves, protective clothing, and hearing protection as dictated by task and environment. Visual acuity sufficient to conduct detailed inspections of equipment and parts, read technical documentation, and view computer screens. Hearing ability sufficient to perceive alarms, equipment signals, and verbal instructions in a manufacturing environment. Must be able to bend, stoop, reach, and work in confined or awkward positions as necessary to access equipment and perform maintenance tasks. Working Conditions

Primarily based on the production floor with regular work in manufacturing and cleanroom environments. Standard schedule is Monday‑Friday on first shift, with flexibility to support urgent maintenance needs or other operational demands. Frequent hands‑on interaction with machinery, tools, equipment, and production materials. Reporting Structure
