The Coordinator of Healing Ministry coordinates administrative functions and services to support healing and deliverance ministry in the Archdiocese. This position reports to the Manager of Healing Ministry.
Responsibilities
Supports the Manager in healing ministry by responding to calls, emails, texts, walk‑in inquiries and requests for healing and liberation.
Assists in coordinating and scheduling the intake process, including evaluation and care recommendations.
Provides updates to exorcists about specific individuals assigned to them.
Offers consultation, support, and pastoral care to those in need.
Develops and enforces policies, procedures, and best practices to ensure quality care for individuals seeking healing and liberation.
Maintains and updates the ministry database.
Supports development of healing and liberation teams within vicariates in conjunction with Episcopal Vicars and the Judicial Vicar.
Serves as a resource to the University of St. Mary of the Lake and other groups involved in forming clergy and laity for this ministry.
Maintains the Archdiocese website page for Spiritual Healing Ministry.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Candidate Profile
Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree preferred.
At least 1–3 years of experience with liberation, healing, and deliverance or prayer team ministry.
Spiritually mature and lives a life rooted in prayer and the sacraments.
Ability to educate and mentor clergy and laity, guiding them in best practices.
Commitment to upholding Catholic Church teaching, mission, and values.
Skilled in facilitating and conducting open dialogue with groups.
Strong decision‑making skills and sound judgment.
Proven ability to identify opportunities for improvement, evaluate issues and situations, and propose and implement solutions while handling highly confidential information.
Excellent written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills.
Team‑oriented with a “service mindset.”
Organized and adaptable.
Ability to work at multiple ecclesial levels: parish, deanery, vicariate, and departmental within the Archdiocese.
Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Preferred experience with technology and website design.
