Position Summary The Associate Director / Director, Global Forecasting will be responsible for commercial forecasts for BioNTech’s key Oncology assets and will play an important role in developing patient-based models, enabling more robust, data-driven insights to better inform strategic decisions across the organization. This person will be part of a best-in-class high-performing team with great visibility to senior management.
Responsibilities
Build and “own” Global commercial forecasts for company’s key pipeline and BD&L assets
Develop and maintain patient-based models, with appropriate analytic capability support for early assets and launch brands across multiple Oncology indications
Work closely with the cross-functional team, including Global marketing, Global market access, US forecasting, Clinical Development and Supply chain teams
Serve as a centre of excellence, providing expert epidemiological data and disease area consultation to cross‑functional teams
Frame and translate complex patient flows into simplified model approaches
Perform secondary data analytics to create robust, aligned forecast assumptions
Recommend market research and secondary data analytics needed to better inform key assumptions and scenario planning
Create and present business cases to leadership team as needed
Manage multiple projects in an extremely fast‑paced environment
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree required, ideally in a quantitative discipline; advanced degree preferred in business administration, statistics, or another relevant field
8+ years of commercial forecasting, valuation and related experience
5+ years of Global Oncology commercial forecasting experience preferred
Strong forecast modeling (Excel/Excel VBA, data analysis) and PowerPoint skills
Experience working with oncology across multiple tumor types
Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to translate analytics into actionable business insights

$150,000/year to $200,000/year + benefits, annual bonus & equity.
Director:
$190,000/year to $250,000/year + benefits, annual bonus & equity. Compensation varies based on responsibilities, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities.
