Flight Attendant – Frontier Airlines
The Frontier Airlines Flight Attendant (FA) is essential to maintaining the well‑being, safety, security, and comfort of passengers onboard our aircraft. Flight Attendants provide a range of services, including safety briefings, cabin service, customer assistance, and emergency response.
Essential Functions
Follow all FAA regulations and Frontier Airlines policies and procedures.
Initiate and conduct emergency evacuation of the cabin when necessary.
Conduct preflight safety checks of cabin emergency equipment.
Ensure proper loading and storage of carry‑on luggage prior to and during the flight.
Maintain cabin safety and security during all phases of flight, including boarding and deplaning.
Prepare and secure doors, and announce departure/arrival information to passengers via the PA system.
Provide instruction and demonstration of onboard safety features.
Set up galley, check supplies, stow beverage and snack carts, and verify counts.
Sell snacks and/or beverages (including alcohol) and collect and stow all items during flight and before landing.
Provide emergency medical assistance (e.g., CPR, first aid).
Project and maintain a positive attitude and composure at all times.
Perform tasks requiring frequent walking, bending to ankle level, and reaching above shoulder level.
Be dependable and committed to completing work assignments per Frontier Airlines policies.
Maintain professional appearance and comply with uniform and appearance guidelines.
Participate in and comply with all DOT, FAA, and Frontier Airlines regulations regarding drug and alcohol compliance for safety‑sensitive transportation employees.
Perform other duties as required.
Qualifications
High school graduate or GED required.
Must be 20 years of age or older.
1–2 years of customer service experience preferred.
Valid passport required with ability to travel internationally.
Present a neat professional appearance and adhere to uniform guidelines.
Must be willing to relocate to assigned base location.
Must be willing to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, holidays, and extended hours when needed.
Must be willing to travel for long stretches of time and adapt to schedule changes on short notice.
Must be willing to fly both international and domestic routes.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills.
Proficient in English (reading, writing, speaking).
Ability to communicate effectively with and reassure passengers in a hurried and stressful environment.
Ability to work independently and as a team member.
Capable of heavy lifting up to 100 lb occasionally and up to 60 lb frequently.
Ability to sit in a seat and be secured with a seatbelt and shoulder harness in all jump seats.
Physical Effort
Perform frequent repetitive motions, including bending at the waist and knees, and sustaining positions for extended periods.
Stand throughout most of the work shift.
Operate all emergency equipment and exits; lift and move items up to 100 lb.
Reach overhead compartments and operate cabin equipment.
Have 20/20 vision and adequate hearing.
