Manager Financial Planning and Analysis (Central) Long Island City, NY
VetJobs invites qualified professionals to apply for the Manager Financial Planning and Analysis (Central) role at JetBlue. This on?site position supports leadership in long?term financial planning, reporting, analysis, and capital budgeting. Position Summary
The Manager FP&A oversees financial modeling, forecasting, and presentation of JetBlue's financial results to Senior Management and the Executive Leadership Team. Responsibilities include providing strategic guidance, maintaining the FP&A planning system, enabling collaboration across departments, and driving long?term forecasts. Essential Responsibilities Provide strategic guidance through sound financial analysis and collaboration. Support capital budget planning, tracking capital spend, and promote communication across departments. Own FP&A planning system data management, system enhancements, and partnership with IT for maintenance. Create and maintain short? and long?term forecasts and analytics. Analyze profitability trends and perform ad?hoc analysis for senior management. Provide education and awareness of corporate policies and procedures. Engage in crew?member development and support their growth and goal achievement. Other duties as assigned.
Minimum Education and Experience
High School/GED required. Five (5) years of budgeting and/or analytical experience. Demonstrated capability to perform job responsibilities with a High School Diploma/GED and at least four (4) years of prior relevant work experience. Experience querying large data sets using SQL and analytical tools such as Tableau. Proficient with Microsoft Office suite. Excellent communication and analytical skills; ability to interact with all organization levels. Must pass a pre?employment drug test and be legally eligible to work in the US.
Preferred Qualifications
Master of Business Administration (MBA). Financial modeling experience for labor groups with collective bargaining agreements. Customer service experience in a matrix structure.
Other Information
Compensation: Base salary range $80,000 $136,200 per year plus performance bonuses, restricted stock units, and company benefits. Work Environment: Traditional office environment. Physical Effort: Typically sedentary; occasional lifting up to 10 pounds. Travel: Available for occasional overnight travel (15%). Location: Long Island City, New York.
