Due to an increase in workload, we are looking for a Principal Geotechnical Engineer to join our highly skilled Ground Investigation team. You will play a vital role in shaping the future of construction projects across the UK, leveraging your expertise in geotechnical, geology, site investigation, interpretive report writing, and ground investigation to drive the technical and organisational aspects of our projects.

Oversee multiple projects in the reporting stage, supervising the technical aspects and writing factual and interpretative reports. Collaborate with a team of knowledgeable professionals to ensure the highest standards of service and quality in our deliverables. Contribute to the continued technical and professional development of our staff, fostering a culture of growth and excellence. Preferred Requirements:
Demonstrate a strong command of geotechnical, geology, site investigation, interpretive report writing, and ground investigation techniques. Proficient in supervising and mentoring soil and rock logging, in‑situ testing, and sampling in accordance with industry standards. Experienced in checking and issuing factual reports and AGS data to clients, as well as conducting quality investigations and technical audits. Skilled in providing technical memos, training, and feedback to junior staff to support their professional development. Adept at putting the client at the centre of all decisions, ensuring their needs are met with the utmost care and attention. Preferred Qualifications:
Possess a strong technical background in geotechnical engineering, with a proven track record of delivering successful projects. Demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills, allowing you to effectively collaborate with clients, project teams, and colleagues.
