LHH is working with a well-established Atlanta law firm that’s seeking an experienced Litigation Paralegal with a strong background in complex commercial and business litigation. This role is ideal for a proactive, detail-driven professional who enjoys managing intricate cases, thrives under pressure, and values teamwork in a fast-paced legal environment.
Responsibilities
Oversee all phases of litigation, from case initiation through trial and appeal.
Coordinate filings in both state and federal courts, including e‑filing and compliance with procedural rules.
Draft and prepare standard legal documents such as motions, subpoenas, and notices.
Maintain and manage case calendars, discovery deadlines, and hearing schedules.
Organize, index, and analyze case materials, including exhibits and deposition transcripts.
Support trial preparation and logistics, including managing exhibits and assisting with trial presentation technology.
Perform legal and factual research utilizing platforms such as Westlaw and LexisNexis.
Cite‑check, proofread, and format briefs, pleadings, and memoranda with exceptional accuracy.
Provide comprehensive support to attorneys on complex litigation matters.
Qualifications
5+ years of litigation paralegal experience, with demonstrated involvement in complex commercial or business litigation.
Strong command of state and federal court procedures and filing requirements.
Proven experience with electronic discovery, document management systems, and litigation databases.
Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple deadlines effectively.
Excellent communication skills with a professional and client-focused demeanor.
Bachelor’s degree and/or ABA‑approved paralegal certification preferred.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and trial presentation tools.
Ability to travel locally or nationally as needed, with flexibility for occasional overtime.
