Aircraft Technical Representative - Charter Operations - Home-Based

Improving our guests travel experience using technology, ingenuity and kindness.” Breeze Airways is looking for Aircraft Technical Representatives to support our charter operations. These Tech Reps are home‑based, and travel will be provided to/from charter locations to support assigned Breeze Charter flights. The Charter Tech Reps perform maintenance, preventative maintenance, and alterations of Breeze aircraft, including troubleshooting, run‑up and taxi procedures, and signing mechanical flight releases to ensure Charter flights perform as planned. Here’s what you’ll do
Perform all assigned maintenance duties in accordance with the Breeze General Maintenance Manual (GMM) Work closely with IOCC and Tech Ops leadership to communicate operational success and areas of opportunity Maintain unrestricted engine run & taxi qualifications on the Breeze aircraft fleet Assist other company departments to support charter operations (e.g., screening, baggage loading and other duties as assigned) Take responsibility for all work performed and recovery plans executed Complete required Breeze forms for all work assigned and performed Prioritize the safety of clients and flight crew Handle all parts, units, assemblies, and aircraft appropriately during repair Maintain current documentation for open discrepancies and corrective actions Conduct post‑flight and pre‑flight inspections as required Ensure tools and equipment are properly maintained and calibrated Maintain a clean and safe work area and account for all tools at task completion Notify Management of any condition that would compromise the airworthiness of Breeze aircraft Maintain a valid A&P Certificate available for FAA, NTSB, or Breeze inspection Perform additional duties as assigned by Maintenance Leadership, MOC, and Charter Leadership Achieve performance measures and adhere to established safety and operational standards aligned with Breeze Aviation Group values Minimum Qualifications
18 years old or older High school diploma or equivalent Current, valid FAA Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) license with no infractions and recent experience on commercial aircraft types 2+ years in commercial airline or charter operations or similar experience Recent experience per 14 CFR 65.83 Valid driver’s license Valid passport with no travel restrictions Authorization to work in the US and ability to travel unrestricted to/from the United States Flexible schedule – willing to work days, nights, weekends, holidays, and long hours if needed Willingness to travel on assigned charter flights Pass DOT pre‑employment drug test, TSA fingerprint check, and Breeze background check Ability to read and interpret aircraft maintenance manuals and specifications High performance orientation; ability to work well under pressure, prioritize projects, meet deadlines, and maintain flexibility Preferred Qualifications
Degree in Aerospace, Aviation Maintenance, or Business Understanding of FAA regulations including FAR Part 121 operations International Charter Ops experience Experience maintaining Embraer E‑Jet and/or Airbus A220 family aircraft Familiarity with an airline Maintenance Information System such as TRAX Skills/Talents
Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) Fluent in English Strong presentation and communication skills with leadership Ability to handle high‑stress situations Excellent oral and written communication Excellent problem‑solving aptitude Capability to lift, carry, and move 50+ pounds Adherence to Breeze’s safety culture, values, and mission Team‑player at all organizational levels Perks of the Job
