Legal Administrative Assistant – Adams & Martin Group Adams & Martin Group has partnered with a prestigious Century City law firm to find an experienced Legal Administrative Assistant to support a team of attorneys with a focus on a lite litigation desk. This role requires strong administrative skills, attention to detail, and the ability to coordinate tasks in a fast‑paced environment.

Salary $75,000 - $105,000 DOE

Base Pay Range $80,000.00/yr – $105,000.00/yr

Location Century City, CA

Employment Type Full-time

Work Hours Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.

Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive administrative and secretarial support to assigned attorneys.

Manage scheduling, including meetings, conference calls, court dates, and client appointments.

Assist with travel arrangements and process reimbursements.

Maintain attorney calendars and ensure deadlines are tracked and met.

Prepare and format correspondence, memoranda, reports, and legal documents.

Draft and assist with pleadings, motions, subpoenas, and other litigation documents using templates.

Coordinate and execute filings in both state and federal courts, including electronic filings (e‑filings).

Organize case binders and supporting documentation.

Screen calls, handle routine inquiries, and greet visitors professionally.

Maintain and update both paper and electronic filing systems.

Track attorney time entries and assist with monthly client billing.

Conduct basic research and prepare summaries or data reports as needed.

Assist with workflow coordination and provide support to team members when required.

Exercise initiative and judgment in handling matters authorized by attorneys or administrative leadership.

Qualifications

High school diploma required; bachelor’s degree preferred.

Minimum of two years of prior legal experience; litigation experience required (lite litigation exposure acceptable).

Experience with state and federal court procedures, including e‑filings, is required.

Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Excellent organizational and interpersonal abilities.

Detail‑oriented with the ability to manage multiple deadlines.

Strong critical thinking and problem‑solving skills.

Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive matters.

Proficiency with iManage, MS Office, InTapp and InTapp Time, 3E, and Chrome River preferred.

Adaptability to new technologies and office equipment.
