Position Highlights The Eller College of Management is seeking a dynamic and motivated Senior Business Development Analyst to join the Eller Partnerships Office (EPO). This position plays a pivotal role in cultivating relationships, forging strategic partnerships, and enhancing the visibility of the Eller College of Management locally and nationally.
The Senior Business Development Analyst stewards strong relationships with key strategic partners, including corporations, alumni, government entities, and the local business community. The role involves designing, developing, and administering initiatives that establish and strengthen strategic partnerships aligned with the university’s mission and goals.
The successful candidate will identify and evaluate new prospects through research and analysis, formulate strategies to grow strategic partnerships, and oversee the development and implementation of initiatives and programs.
This is a full-time, in-person position based in Phoenix, Arizona. This role involves some travel within the Phoenix metropolitan area, and candidates must have reliable transportation.

Duties & Responsibilities Partner Prospecting & Research
Identifies new prospects through research, establishes contact, begins and coordinates the engagement process.
Tracks engagement and maintains CRM and/or shared databases.
Recruits and signs new prospects as partners for EPO.
Engages with faculty and EPO leadership to share recommendations on new industries to pursue relationships with based on research conducted on the business landscape and setting goals for outcomes.
Outreach & Event Support
Designs, develops, delivers, and administers materials related to establishing strategic partnerships with external companies to support the EPO mission and initiatives.
Assists with logistics, communications and follow up for partner meetings, projects, and events.
Drafts outreach and materials for partnership promotion and visibility.
Relationship Management Support
Maintains partner contacts and ensures timely follow ups with existing and prospective partners.
Coordinates partner deliverables and communicates with internal stakeholders (staff, faculty, and students).
Collaborates with Eller leadership on initiatives.
Reporting & Coordination
Supports data collection and impact reporting.
Assists in developing presentations and reports summarizing partnerships.
Delivers outcomes and reports back to leadership.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities
Solid understanding of market research techniques.
Knowledge of business development frameworks, opportunity assessment, and strategic partnership models.
Ability to convert analytics and research findings into actionable recommendations that drive business growth.
Excellent interpersonal and relationship building skills.
Ability to communicate in clear, concise, and persuasive manner.
Ability to create professional reports and present findings.
Ability to balance multiple projects and deadlines while maintaining high standards of work.
Minimum Qualifications
Minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience, or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
Bachelor's degree or equivalent advanced learning attained through professional level experience.
Must have a valid driver’s license and ability to drive according to the University Fleet Safety Policy.
Preferred Qualifications
Advanced degree in business (MBA or similar).
Experience using CRM tools.
Experience with data visualization and reporting tools.

As a campus with residential housing facilities, the Main Campus ASR also includes a combined Annual Fire Safety report with information on fire statistics and fire safety systems, policies, and procedures.
