We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Math Teacher to join our esteemed faculty for the 2026-2027 academic year. The successful candidate will have a strong background in mathematics, a commitment to Catholic education, and the ability to inspire students to excel in their academic and spiritual lives.
Responsibilities
Plan and deliver engaging and effective math lessons aligned with the school's curriculum
Teach a range of courses that may include Algebra II, AP Calculus, and AP Statistics
Set and model high academic, behavioral, and service expectations for students, parents, and colleagues
Provide individualized support to address students' unique learning needs
Integrate technology for a 21st-century learning environment
Cultivate a positive, inclusive learning environment to promote respect and success for all
Communicate professionally and promptly with all Donovan community members
Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the Donovan experience
Model a commitment to lifelong learning through ongoing professional development
Attend required school events and meetings, including some evenings and weekends
Maintain accurate and timely attendance and grade records
Demonstrate stewardship in the use of material and financial resources
Embark Catholic values and promote the spiritual development of students from diverse backgrounds
Adhere to all policies in the Student-Family Handbook and the Faculty/Staff Handbook
Support the mission and vision of Donovan Catholic School
Perform all other duties as assigned by the Head of School
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Mathematics or a related field (Master's preferred)
Current Georgia teaching certification or ability to obtain within two years
Previous experience teaching mathematics at the high school or postsecondary level
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Commitment to the mission and values of Catholic education
Complete Virtus training and maintain active certification
Practicing Catholic preferred, but not required
