Warehouse Lead – Full Time

Role and Responsibilities
Lead daily meetings to discuss task delegation and goals
Prioritize orders to ensure all orders ship by their required dates
Prioritize workload to ensure the oldest returns are processed first
Create daily/weekly schedules to promote employee rotation and cross training
Assures the quality and quantity of work done by frontline staff
Manage and maintain proper inventory levels of packaging supplies and boxes
Write and execute performance reviews
Identify and communicate packaging trends
Review new products to determine future packaging
Assure employees are meeting company standards for accuracy, efficiency, and productivity
Prepare and ship orders accurately by processing requests, pulling materials, packing boxes, and placing finished orders in staging/delivery area.
Assist in organizing stock and maintain inventory by performing cycle counts.
Maintain a safe and clean work environment by keeping shelves, pallet area, product locations, and workstations neat.
Inspect products for any defects or damages in accordance with standards of quality, weight specifications, and presentation.
Responsible for managing pickups and loading our various carriers (UPS, Fedex, Expedited, etc)
Recycle packaging materials accordingly
Put re-sellable inventory back to stock
Problem solve and troubleshoot any WMS issues
Coach and train employees in all phases of the Department
Assist other departments in achieving companywide goals
Run daily EOD reports to recap productivity
Perform other assigned duties as necessary and required.
Competencies
Work independently, as well as part of a team.
Follow written procedures and verbal instructions.
Ability to perform basic math functions.
Able to read and write in English.
Physical Demands
Ability to push/pull/lift up to 75 lbs. several times during the shift.
Must be able to stand for extended periods of time.
Must be able to sit, stand, reach, bend, and twist without restrictions.

Frequently work in environment with extreme temperatures. Our warehouse is not climate-controlled. This includes sometimes being exposed to the outdoor environment.

Qualifications and Education Requirements High school diploma or GED preferred but not required
