Graphic Designer Position: Full‑time, on‑site in Richardson, TX (Monday – Friday).

Job Purpose

The Graphic Designer is responsible for creating and developing detail‑oriented, compelling visual content that reflects the rugged, adventurous spirit of GSM Outdoors. The role encompasses designing engaging graphics for product packaging, marketing materials, digital campaigns, and brand collateral, ensuring consistency across our portfolio of outdoor brands. This position requires a blend of creativity, technical expertise, and a passion for the outdoor lifestyle.

Summary Of Essential Job Duties

Develop visually appealing graphics for product packaging, advertisements, social media, website assets, and trade‑show materials that align with GSM Outdoors’ brand identity.

Collaborate with marketing, product development, and sales teams to translate creative briefs and brand guidelines into high‑impact designs that resonate with outdoor‑enthusiast audiences.

Manage multiple design projects simultaneously, from initial concept through final production, ensuring deadlines and quality standards are met across all platforms.

Continuously research and apply design trends, tools, and best practices—especially in the outdoor and sporting goods space—to keep GSM Outdoors’ visuals fresh, engaging, and competitive.

Requirements Skills / Qualifications

Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).

Experience with video editing software (e.g., Premiere Pro, After Effects) is a plus.

Experience designing for outdoor or sporting goods brands.

Knowledge of 3D rendering for product visualization.

Understanding of e‑commerce platforms and digital marketing strategies.

Required Education And Experience

Bachelor’s degree in graphic design, visual arts, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

2+ years of professional graphic design experience, preferably in the outdoor, sporting goods, or lifestyle industry.
