Job Summary The Department of Psychiatry at the University of Michigan is seeking a full‑time clinical‑track faculty member to work in Ambulatory Psychiatry focusing on the treatment of adults. This position involves high‑quality clinical care, teaching medical learners, and participation in quality improvement and research.
Responsibilities
Provide general psychiatric care to adults with mood, anxiety, and related disorders.
Teach and mentor medical students, residents, and fellows.
Participate in or lead quality improvement and research initiatives.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members such as social workers, psychologists, and pharmacists.
Attend departmental meetings, patient rounds, and academic conferences.
Qualifications
MD or equivalent degree.
Board certification or eligibility in Psychiatry and Neurology.
Active Michigan medical and pharmacy licenses (or eligibility).
Evidence of clinical competence and didactic teaching experience.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
