We are seeking an experienced Bar Supervisor to join our Food & Beverage team, leading with passion, precision, and a commitment to excellence.

Your Role As the Bar Supervisor, you will showcase your expertise in mixology, wine knowledge, and team leadership to deliver refined, seamless service across qualia’s premium dining outlets. You’ll play a hands‑on role in mentoring the bar team, ensuring the highest levels of guest satisfaction, and maintaining Hamilton Island’s standards of excellence.
Where you’ll make an impact
Supervise and lead the team to deliver world‑class guest experiences
Assist in training and mentoring staff, ensuring service consistency and excellence
Engage with guests professionally, handling enquiries, requests, and complaints
Oversee bar operations, including stock control, cashiering, and opening/closing duties
Work across qualia’s outlets, including Pebble Beach, Long Pavilion, and in‑room dining
Support the management team in identifying training needs and staff development opportunities
What we’re looking for You are a hospitality professional with a proven ability to lead and inspire in a luxury environment. With exceptional service standards, attention to detail, and strong beverage knowledge, you’ll thrive in a fast‑paced setting while creating unforgettable guest moments.
To be successful, you will need:
Valid QLD RSA (Essential)
Driver’s Licence (Essential)
F&B experience in a fine dining setting (Essential)
Minimum 1 year in a supervisory role within Food & Beverage
Strong wine and cocktail knowledge; tasting menu experience advantageous
Excellent organisational and communication skills
Impeccable personal presentation and attention to detail
Ability to work under pressure in a high‑end environment
