The Global Proposal Engineer is responsible for ensuring the completeness, accuracy and on-time delivery of MECS technology proposals to prospective customers. This role must be able to effectively prioritize numerous proposals with varying scopes and deadlines as well as coordinate efforts across the Elessent organization for the development and support of customer opportunities. Key Responsibilities

Prepare complete, accurate and on-time customer proposals and price estimates. Provide strategic and commercial support to world regions for various MECS technologies as established by Licensing Managers. Serve as point of communication between regional sales managers (BDMs) and the home office. Collaborate effectively with internal functional and business teams to create and refine proposals. Support sales effort with timely response to technical and commercial questions from clients on multiple product lines. Work collaboratively with regional BDMs and Licensing Managers to define strategy for each opportunity. Provide technical and commercial support to regional BDMs and Licensing Managers during contract negotiations. Interface directly with customers to support sales effort. Maintain data within Epicor ERP System regarding opportunities, sales orders, projects, etc. Qualifications/Requirements

Completion of a 4-year Chemical Engineering Degree; 2 to 3 years related experience preferred. Time management and task prioritization required to manage multiple proposals at once. Able to work with a variable time schedule to accommodate communication with a global team and clients across multiple international time zones. Strong communication skills to clearly direct and manage relationships with customers, BDMs and internal teams. Self-motivated with the ability to work independently. Technically competent so as to be able to effectively communicate with internal teams, BDMs and clients, but does not need to be a technical expert.
