Base pay range $110,600.00/yr - $209,000.00/yr

You will be part of a world‑class Instrumentation and Control Systems team dedicated to protecting the most valuable asset in the world, water.
You’ll lead the development of Process & Instrumentation Drawings (P&IDs), control narratives, specifications, network drawings, panel drawings, and instrument selection. You’ll coordinate with other engineering disciplines for a cohesive design, contribute to control system software development in PLCs and HMIs, and perform facility startups and commissioning activities. You’ll review construction submittals, conduct site evaluations, recommend control system upgrades, and communicate with clients and management.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or related discipline from an accredited university or college.
Ability to obtain a PE within one year.
Minimum of 15 years of experience.
I&C Systems Integration design experience.
Process & Instrumentation Diagram (P&ID) development.
I/O list development.
Instrumentation selection.
Control panel layout and wiring.
Detailed loop wiring diagrams.
PLC equipment list development.
Knowledge of DCS systems.
Understanding of IT/OT best practices (NIST‑800, ISA/IEC 62443 OT).
Experience with industrial networks (Modbus, EthernetIP, HART, Foundation Fieldbus, etc.).
Ability to mentor, train, and delegate work to others domestically and abroad.
Ability to work outside normal work hours at times to coordinate with global team members.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
Preferred Qualifications
Water infrastructure Instrumentation & Controls Systems design experience.
Experience with PLCs and HMI programming software.
Experience developing scope, fee, and schedule for I&C and Control System projects.
