Airswift is seeking an Electrical Engineer for an initial 3-month contract in Fremont, CA with a leading company in the automotive and clean energy industry.
The selected candidate will join the Factory Design team, supporting multidisciplinary design efforts for manufacturing infrastructure projects, including retrofits, adaptive reuse, and demolition. This position is on-site in Fremont, CA.
Responsibilities:
Perform Revit-based modeling of as-built and existing conditions for electrical systems. Draft electrical design deliverables such as single-line diagrams, power plans, lighting layouts, and panel schedules. Support adaptive reuse and demolition projects by preparing accurate construction documentation. Collaborate with internal teams to deliver high-quality, code-compliant designs. Participate in field activities and coordinate with construction teams for issue resolution. Work independently on design tasks; stamping of drawings is
not
required. May occasionally reference NEC standards for compliance. Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience. 3–5 years of experience in electrical design, ideally within manufacturing, industrial, or retrofit environments. Strong proficiency in Revit for modeling and drafting. Experience with adaptive reuse, demolition, and retrofit projects. Ability to work independently and manage design tasks from concept to documentation. Familiarity with NEC standards is a plus.
