Security Operations Analyst/Engineer
Overview We are seeking a hands‑on and analytical Security Operations Analyst/Engineer to help secure enterprise systems and data. This role blends technical engineering with investigative analysis, supporting threat intelligence, vulnerability management, incident response, and the development of defensive security controls. You’ll work closely with IT and business stakeholders to drive measurable cybersecurity improvements and serve as an escalation point for complex incidents.
Key Responsibilities
Monitor and analyze security alerts from SIEM, endpoint, and network tools.
Investigate and respond to security incidents, minimizing impact and risk.
Maintain and optimize security infrastructure and detection mechanisms.
Apply threat intelligence to proactively identify and mitigate risks.
Document incidents and generate reports for compliance and leadership.
Collaborate on security assessments and process improvements.
Mentor junior analysts and support cross‑functional security initiatives.
Required Skills & Experience
5+ years in security operations, incident response, or vulnerability management.
Proficiency with SIEM platforms, endpoint/network security, and threat intelligence.
Familiarity with MITRE ATT&CK, Agile methodologies, and SDLC.
Strong communication, analytical thinking, and organizational skills.
Bachelor’s degree in IT, IS, Computer Science, or related field.
Preferred: Certifications such as CISSP, GSEC, or CCSP.
