A proprietary trading firm in Chicago is looking to bring on a Senior Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) in a full-time capacity. This team builds high-availability infrastructure to support ultra-low-latency trading strategies. You’ll be joining a group of engineers dedicated to automation, system performance, and reliability — all running in a Linux-based, containerized, cloud-native environment. This is an onsite role working closely with developers, support teams, and stakeholders across the firm.

What makes this role stand out? You’ll be embedded within a front-office trading environment where engineering is treated like a first-class citizen. The firm is investing heavily in SRE practices and automation, and they’re looking for a senior-level engineer who knows how to scale infrastructure, own production support, and optimize CI/CD pipelines. If you’re motivated by solving complex system challenges and enjoy seeing your work directly impact trading outcomes, this is a standout opportunity. Expect a sharp, collaborative team, flexible PTO, wellness perks, and access to cutting-edge tools and systems.
