Overview
As an ACES Engagement Specialist, you will support children and youth involved in the foster care system through case management and family finding. Through research, social media sites, and family members and their connections, you will work to identify potential family or other kin as placement possibilities. At the same time, you will also provide case management services to the child/youth and family in crisis to promote stabilization and link to necessary community resources. The overall goal of our ACES Specialist is to support the County in building lasting positive relationships for the children in care and providing services to the family unit.

Flexible hours - 30-39 hours per week
Flexible work environment - primarily remote with some in-office hours
What we’re looking for
Bachelor’s degree in a Social Services field (Social Work, Psychology, Human Services, Counseling, etc.)
Experience working with kids, crisis intervention and conflict resolution, and knowledge of child development and the child welfare system
Proof of valid Driver’s License with clean driving record, as well as valid auto insurance
Satisfactory results of fingerprinting and background check in compliance with State/Federal requirements
